This may be a somewhat radical position but it is an absolutely necessary one – especially for Black America.

The simple fact is that we do virtually nothing with guns but kill one another. The Ku Klux Klan never killed and maimed as many Blacks as Blacks kill and maim one another. In America today, more African Americans are victims of homicides than are victims of AIDS. There is no reason to disbelieve the latest Justice Department figures which show that 90 percent of Blacks killed in this country are killed by other Blacks and in approximately 60 percent of the killings a handgun is used.

When are we going to wake up! Guns do not protect use; they kill us. They turn punks, thugs and the mentally deficient into domestic terrorists spreading fear, mayhem and death. This is fear, mayhem and death in which they simply would not be able to engage if it were not for that gun. How long will America, both Black and white, continue to witness deranged people killing dozens at malls, college campuses and neighborhoods and remain silent about the evil of guns?

We live in the most violent country in the world. No one kills more Americans than other Americans. And although we are only 13 percent of the nation’s population, we account for better that 40 percent of gun deaths. The starting point for attacking this gun culture is a change in attitude. The beliefs that owning a gun makes you a man and is a symbol of freedom is downright psychotic.

Neither manhood nor freedom comes from the barrel of a gun. And we are not talking theory. As a matter of actual fact the only things coming from guns in America today are robberies, burglaries, rapes and murders. And disproportionately we are the victims.

As such, we, as a people interested in survival, should be in the forefront of local and national efforts to ban the ownership of handguns. We must support politicians who will make a stand against the gun lobby. In the 21 century, gun ownership is down right uncivilized.

Do not allow false phrase mongering to destroy the Black race. When someone says “If you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns” tell them they are speaking foolishness. From Canada to a host of European countries, every where guns have been banned both violence and deaths are reduced. Secure, civilized nations are no-gun nations. What can anyone do with an assault rifle but kill innocent people?

The simple fact is that America is neither secure nor civilized and never will be as long as there are between 60 million and 100 million guns floating around this nation.

[Share your thoughts on the above commentary or any other topic by emailing me at TaylorMediaPrime@yahoo.com or leave a brief message at 202-657-8872. After the Greek invasion in 332 B.C.E., the name was then changed to Egypt.
Ma'at is the hightest and oldest form of Kemetic Spirituality. It is the fundamental principle of the divine, natural and social order establish by Ra (God) at the time of creation. Ma'at is that which the Creator loves and requires, and humans love and request. Ma'at is the very essence of the Creator/Creatress. (principle of duality) It is also the basis of the existing relationship between the Creator and the creation. In other words, everything that the Crerator/Creatress is, so are we. We are born with all the essential necessities to become complete human beings according to the requirements of the Crerator.

As Dr. Maulana Karenga suggest: The human nature is endowed by Ra (God) and is essentially good, for it is in his likeness. Therefore, there is no need for religious transformation like conversion or salvation. The divine nature is already there, it simply has to be cultivated through teaching followed by practice. Moreover, then, there is no conception`of original sin or existenial defect as partrayed by Judeo-Christian anthropology. That is to say, one is not born in sin, but in the context of posibility. Therefore offenses to Ra (God), humans (fellow man), and nature can be corrected by teaching and self-corrective practice and do not require confession and conversion, or divine grace to an unworthy and inherently sinful being.

Understanding Ma'at allows us to be able to transend to the highest level of spirituality. One must first "KNOW" who they are in light of their relationship with the Creator/Creatress, and not what someone else has said they are!

In summation the manifestation of Ma'at is partrayed through these seven (7) cardinal virtues: Truth, Justice, Righteousness, Harmony, Balance, Reciprocity, and Order. This should be our acclamated goal. To strive for excellence in all we do so that no fault can be found in our character.

There must be an established common unity between the Creator and the creation. To be truly righteous is to be one with Ra (God) and to share in his spiritual essence. "Know thy self" then you will know the Creator.

Without Ma'at, the world and the universe as we know it will cease to exist. The seven (7) cardinal virtures or principles of Ma'at mentioned above in operation causes everything in the universe to remain in it's proper place. The disruption of any of these principles will result in chaos in the universe as well as our personal lives. Therefore, it is crucial that we understand and implement these principles daily. Let's examine them briefly:

Truth = The supreme reality based on actual facts proven by the presentation of evidence. "Truth is a reality, not a belief system".

Justice = The upholding of righteousness and fair treatment to the highest standard of morality.
And thus, Justice is given to one who does what is loved and punishment is given to one who does what is hated. (The Book of Knowing the Creations)

Righteousness = Living in truth, acting in justices. Life itself can be understood or viewed as motion or movement. It began at birth, and ends at death. One cannot reach the end without a means or vehicle. Thus, righteousness is the vehicle of life with truth as the guide and justice as the steerimg wheel.

Act righteously for the Lord of righteousness whose righteousness is righteousness indeed. When goodness is good it is truly good. Surely righteousness is for eternity. It goes to the grave with those who do it. When they are buried and the earth envelops them, their name is not erased from the face of the earth. They are remembered because of their goodness. For this is a principle established by the word of God. Speak right and do right. For righteousness is mighty. It is great; it endures; its worth is real and it leads one to blessedness. Wrongdoing does not achieve its goal, but one who is righteous reaches dry land. (Book of Khun-Anup VIII)
Harmony = The act of abiding in agreement. Sharing the same interest. A strong sense of togetherness. Another word for harmony is unity.

Balance = A weighing device to determine the weight of one object as oppose to another to establish a equilibrium. Balance is also defined as a state of mental, phychological, or emotional stability. When one experiences difficulties in their lives, the first reaction is to fine someone to blame. The painful reality is that whatever difficulties, problems, or situations that arise in our lives is caused by something we did or did not do which created a imbalance.

Reciprocity = Derives from the word Reciprocal which gives reference to two or more persons or things interchangeable or complementry to each other. Something performed, experienced, or felt by both sides. The ability to give and receive mutually, or for one to take the place of another. Therefore, we can define Reciprocity as "A mutual cooperative relationship.
Order = A process or method by which something takes place. A logical or comprehensible arrangement of something so that proper functioning may be achieved. Like harmony and balance, any disruption of order results in chaos. Order then is proper arrangement.
Ma'at teaches without order, there can be no harmony. Without harmony, there can be on balance. Without balance, there can be no reciprocity. The foundation of these principles are Truth, Justice, and Righteousness.

Live Ma'at, Do Ma'at, Speak Ma'at and the divine blessing of life will overtake you.

Visit Dr. Ray Hagins at http://www.wblr.com/ to hear the truth 24/7, it will free your mind, heart, soul and behind. My heart goes out to you. I could see the pain and joy on your face and in your voice. You and NBC are doing a great job with this series. I needed to hear from those women as a divorced 40 year old Black African American Man.

I am working to implement a plan to improve the Black man, Black Woman and Black Family. Black Love must be our common bond. A degree or job can never replace a Black man, neither can a White or Hispanic Man. Therefore I offer this idea to solve the problem. Serious Black Men and Black Women should form Bi-monthly meetings where they talk about a topics regarding relationship: These groups should be no more than 20 people per group. They can be held at a local school, church or community center on Saturday Mornings from 8-10 AM. The topics should be the same for each group each month. However, the second meeting should be mixed, where men listen and not talk. The following month's mix meeting women must listen and not talk. One requirement is that you must have spent the previous month listening before you can talk at the mixed meeting. Why this idea. Black men and Black Women have never been taught how to honestly communicate with each other.

Ms. Ellis, I believe that you could establish and become the spokesperson for such an effort.

Black men love Black Women! Black Women have helped to restore our humanity after racism repeated takes it away. Our pride and ego often gets in the way of our common sense. To answer the question, when did things start to go down for Black People, it correlates with integration and desegregation.

Thank you so much for helping to shed a light on Black Women.

Black Independent Women Need Black Men

After watching the full interview online that aired on Wednesday, November28, 2007, I felt the need to respond by posting a blog. I try not to post anything just for the sake of blogging. I felt compelled to address several issues raised by Ms. Ellis and her panel of Black Women. First let me state for the record, that I Love Black African American People unconditionally. I may not always agree with some of the inappropriate behavior that some Black people engage in, but I have an understanding of why. Black Women, we love you! We need you! We respect and appreciate you! One the other hand, we abuse you! We disrespect you! We abandon you!

It would talk Dr. Alvin Puissant or Dr. Ray Hagins (http://wwww.wblr.com/) to fully explain why we hate the very thing we love. Black women have been the stable rock of the family, because the Black Man was systematically attacked. I know! Black Women don’t want to hear No excuses. They believe that they made it in this racist society and life ain’t been easy for them either. They are right. It is time for Black Men to get over our excuses about Racism. Our women perceive us as weak, because we stopped fighting for them and our families. Racist and racism will always exits, but we don’t have to let it control our behavior and lives. Live free or die trying! That means spending some time learning about healthy Black Relationships and practicing what we learn. Black Men have time to give. Give it to Black Women and Black Children. When we change our behavior, we will earn their love and respect. As many Black Men know, there ain’t no feeling like being loved by a Black Women.

Let me suggest this to Black Women. The reason you can not walk away from your children is because they imprinted themselves on your soul during pregnancy and after birth. Men must be required to spend a minimum of three hours per day with their child between birth and six months. They must change the diapers, feed, bathe, rock to sleep, play with, provide love when the cry and allow their souls to be imprinted. Once this bonding occurs, it will be difficult for him to walk away from his child/ ren.

Black Women must also learn about the Black Man. He is a unique and different human being, uniquely shaped by his history and that of his father, grandfather, great-grandfather. He is born with gifts, talents and aspirations that this racist society does everything to destroy. Because there are few or no strong Black Communities with Strong Black Leaders, he is prepared in elementary and middle school to be hunted for the Prison Industrial Complex. He has a value of $30,000 per year to a private prison. In a racist system that will not spend $10,000 per year for four years to educate him. Black Men and Black Women must be retrained and reeducated to love each other, or the racist plan will have worked and we will turn away for the Black African American Race. We dishonor our ancestors when we knowing or unknowing seek love, respect and affirmation outside of our race.

There is something almost magical about the Love of a Black Woman and a Black Man. It’s a Power that transcends time and space. If you’ve seen it, you know it. You enjoy being in it presence. That’s the spiritual and cosmic bond of a Black Man and a Black Woman in love.

Much Respect!
One Love, One People, One Goal: Black Empowerment

Charles E. A Black Consciousness is an awakening of the mind to Black history, culture and conditions of Black People. A Black Consciousness is created through exposure to information, such a book entitled: Black Labor White Wealth and PowerNomics written by Dr. Claud Anderson, The Conspiracy to Destroy Black Boys by Dr. J. Kunjufu, The Miseducation of the Negro by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, The Destruction of Black Civilization by Dr. Chancellor Williams, Africa and The New World Order by Dr. John Henrik Clarke, How Western Religions Underdeveloped African Civilizations by Professor James Small, Education for Liberation Message by Dr. Leonard Jefferies and so many others. A Black Consciousness allows a Black Person to develop a group identity, a positive self esteem and a desire to use their God given talents to uplift and empower their people.

Black Colleges and Universities should be exposing students to this information, if they expect to develop Black Leaders in all fields of study who will make a change in the Black Community. Students can not demand a true education if they think what they are already getting is one. I challenge all Black Students to read Black Labor White Wealth and The Miseducation of a Negro. Those two books will prick your conscious and create a new awareness of your Blackness and why it is important for this society to keep you unconscious and asleep in the Matrix. Black Students represent the hopes and aspirations of those who were not able to attend college. Those you left behind in you small towns or cities. If you education is about the “I got to get minds mentality” then you will never be any good to your family or your community. Black Students should demand to have at least one required course before graduation that will help you understand Black History Prior to white enslavement, racism, discrimination, prejudice, the justice system and what are current struggles for equality, justice and economic justice is all about. I know that it is fashionable to be stupid about such matters to some college students and that saddens me. Especially when administrators from my undergraduate reponded to me with statements like this: "We had a Voluntary Black Studies Course and had to cancel it because no or too few Black Students would sign up for it".

I hope Black College Students are not too asleep to understand what is happening in America in 2007. If they understood what happened in 1907, 1947, 1957, 1967 and 1987 then they would get it. A Miseducation prepares one to get a job, but a Conscious Education prepares one to lead a people and a nation. Which one are you or your children or grandchildren being prepared for?

Respect!
One Love, One People, One Goal: Black Empowerment

Charles E. "The only way — let me stress that — the only way that I believe that me or this community has been able to endure the trauma that has been thrust upon us is through the prayers of the Christian people who have sent them up in this community," Walters said. "I firmly believe and am confident of the fact that had it not been for the direct intervention of the Lord Jesus Christ last Thursday, a disaster would have happened. You can quote me on that."
It appears that the cat is out of the bag! Just as a majority of the Black and White Churches remain segregated on Sunday Morning, so is the “Jesus Christ” they worship. White Folks believe that their Jesus is White, and they get a special feeling from knowing that their God is White. Black Folks believe that their Jesus is White, except for a few who have tried to take the bible’s description of him and make him Black. The majority of Black Christians believe the image given to them by Whites who enslave their ancestor in America. That Enslavement Process of Black People removed from them, their consciousness their own God Concept of “Amen Ra or God”.

The truth is that the concept of Jesus Christ was MADE UP by Roman Catholic Church. He was never a real person, despite the fabricated lies written in that great fictional literary master peace and that Number One All-Time-Best Selling Book, The Holy Bible”. It was based upon earlier concept of a Savior stolen from Kemet or Ancient African Egyptians. I’m no expert, but Dr. Ray Hagins is http://www.wblr.com/ and he has proof on CDs, Cassettes, Research Paper and DVDs. You can listen to his teachings for free at his website http://www.wblr.com/ , IF you want to break your religious programming.

Therefore, white folks can keep worshiping their White Jesus Christ and Black Folks can keep worshiping their White or Black Jesus Christ. It does seem to me that White Folks Jesus Christ from a group perspective might be showing White Folks a lot of Favoritism and Benefits that Black Folks Jesus Christ. Even though I reverence Amen Ra as a Black God, I will never lose my ability to think as a Conscious Black Afrikan Man in the collective interest of Black African People wherever they live.

So those of you who get happy for small victories, White Racism is about to reload in Jena, LA those Black People who live there and across the United States of America for the rest of us. I offer The Quiet Resolution (TQR) http://tqrbe.blogspot.com/ as a National Black Empowerment Plan and invite everyone to read it and give you’re your feedback. It’s about Black Love, Black Empowerment and Black Self-Sufficiency. All it will take is a “Love Offering”J.

Respect!
One Love, One People, One Goal: Black Empowerment

Charles E. No
Test Case: The Jena Six (Jena, LA)
By
Charles E. Campbell, 1BAMO

American Injustice for Black People is rising. Black People should have bailed those children out of jail and gotten them competent Legal Representation. Governor Blanco is white and can be expected to do for Black Children in Jena, LA, what she did for Black People in New Orleans, LA during Katrina. "Nothing"

If we as Black People have no ability to protect our children from Racist and their behavior, what hope is there for our Race? Injustice against Black People in Jena, LA, is an injustice to Black People everywhere.

Six Black Jena High students, Robert Bailey (17), Theo Shaw (17), Carwin Jones (18), Bryant Purvis (17), Mychal Bell (16) and an unidentified minor, were expelled from school, arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder. The first trial ended last month, and Mychal Bell, who has been in prison since December, was convicted of aggravated battery and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery (both felonies) by an all-white jury in a trial where his public defender called no witnesses. During his trial, Mychal's parents were ordered not to speak to the media and the court prohibited protests from taking place near the courtroom or where the judge could see them. The answer to this question is that these children don’t benefit them. Not politically, financially, personally or professionally! They don’t see the opportunity to gain anything by standing up for justice. That is sad. I believe Dr. Claud Anderson, Founder of The Harvest Institute, when he says that Black People in America are in trouble because our leadership keeps playing silly games.

I ask that you question every Black Politician, Preacher, Athlete, Actors, Billionaire / Millionaire who come before you at your local, state or national level, what is their stand on the Injustice taking place in Jena, LA and what they plan to do about it. At a minimum, they should sign the online petition, make a small donation and write a letter to the United State and Louisiana State Attorney General Offices.

Nobody is going to protect our children, but us, save our children, but us, empower our children but us. So far, in this case we must do better. The Jena Six is a major test case! Hear me well. If they are allowed to perpetrate and get away with this injustice, then Black People will witness the turning back of the hands of time to the late 19th and early 20th Century in terms of Injustices done to Black People. Today it’s the Jena Six, tomorrow; it could be your city with a number. Wake up you sleeping Giant!

Respect!
http://www.cdbaby.com/cecampbell

Campbell, LSW, MSW

A Black Father Definition: This is a Black man who constantly gives his children advice and tells them of his mistakes in order to help them be better men and women. This is a black man who sticks by his children although they may not always take his advice and end up in trouble. (Definition is From the Urban Dictionary)

A Black Father is much more. Black men and their sons should have a strong relationship. We want to produce a carbon copy of ourselves. Without sufficient planning father- son relationship start to go wrong. Having a son is an awesome responsibility. It takes money, time, patients and love. In order to get money for all his son’s needs, he first must have an education or some skill to earn a living. Without adequate skills, his opportunities are limited and criminal behavior becomes an option, justified by the need to take care of his responsibilities. If he is too young to be a father, then he will not spend much time with his son, except to show him off to his friends on occasion. When a son is born they demand that a father spend time with them. Without and adequate bonding between father and son, the father feels no obligation to his son and can abandon him without much thought or care. This is a devastating moment of rejection and will produce an anger, resentful son and who need to feel loved by a father. Black boys who group without a father have greater chances of falling in there pitfalls of drugs, crime and teen pregnancy. He has a need to proved that he is much more of a man than his father ever was or will be, without understanding the pressures that led the his father abandoning him. Thus the cycle continues when he leaves his own son and justifies it by walking away.

It is our responsibility to raise our young boys to become responsible men. It is impossible for young boy to become something that he is never seen or interacted with in any meaningful way. How can they become strong Black men, if they know none. Black men on TV and the pros don't count. Being a black father takes a lot of patience. It is not easy to raise a Blacks son, especially when they reached the ages of 14 through 17. They will assert their independence, challenge your authority and break your rules. But if you could show them love and discipline they will be successful in life. This is the hardest part for Black Fathers raising sons in the 21st century. We as Black men are under attack by this system and our sons under attack by the same system. They are being Mis-educated and prepared for incarceration. We must show them the way and lead by example. We must learn to educate them, employ them, nurture them and support their dream.

Here's how we do that. In every town and city where black men exist we must come together and have one place where we set aside one day of the month. Let's call it Third Saturday. On that day, every church, Fraternity, Black professional organization and Black men will pool their dollars and bring Black boys to a specific location and engage them in education, sports, entertainment, fun and empowerment. We will provide them with breakfast and lunch. We will group them by their dreams and aspirations with Black men involved in those professions. For example, all Black boys, wanting to play professional sports will be linked with formal athletes. The goal is to have First Thursday become just as popular as First Fridays, but with the different purpose. We are failing our Black Boys as Black men and we must do more. We are their role models, their protectors, the greatest cheer leaders. They are our present and our future.

Each Black man in that community will voluntarily contribute $10 per month for the purpose of funding Third Saturday, whether they have boys or not. Every community should set a goal of 50 to 100 Black men contributors. The goal is to raise between ten and fifteen thousand dollars each year. Those funds would be used to purchase land, equipment and to pay for activities that the boys participate in. Where there is the will, there is the way, but when there is no will, there are excuses. If Black men are not satisfied with the condition and status of Black Boys, but hear this call to action. This can be done without any federal, state, county or city funds. At some point we must stand up and be leaders, which mean getting it up off our knees and stop begging other people for money to do that which we know needs to be done for ourselves. If Black men are on their knees begging, they why do we to tell Black Boys to stop sagging. Both behaviors are inappropriate and leave a negative image of Black men and Black boys in the minds of others.

1 Black Afrikan Man Opinion (1BAMO)

http://www.cdbaby.com/cecampbell

They have no understanding of the real history behind that word. The NAACP at their national meeting in Detroit, MI, would have made better use of their borrowed dollars by creating a national campaign to education young adults about the hurt behind that word nigger and suggesting alternative words to replace it.

Let's be real! Black People continue to suffer from Post Traumatic Slavery Syndrome and we don't even know it. Our leadership is pimping us at every level from the church pulpits to the seats of power at every level of political office. The NAACP is in my cross hairs because they had the nerve to spend time, money and energy during their National Meeting sponsoring a silly funeral for the word nigger and get this, they used Black Roses. That's an example of PTSS and a form of self-hatred. Why not white roses? I recommend that the entire NAACP Board be replaced and the leadership in the organization resign. If the conditions of Black Afrikan People living in America is any indication of Black Leadership, then we would be better off without it.

Let me say that Black Religious Institutions, Social Organizations, Professional Organizations and Business Leaders are not doing much to address the suffering of Black People either. We are too busy being busy. The majority of our Black Institutions were created in the early 20th Century with programs to uplift and empower us. We are in the 21st Century and many of their program have not changed and the generations who benefited from the gains of the 60s and 70s are retiring and have shut the door. We are locked in the Matrix and don't even know it.

Some of our young adults may cause us pain and hurt because they use words that still resonate with some of us, but many of them are hurting themselves and they are angry because they see our foolishness and inappropriate behavior. Until we start to respect, protect, educate and empower them, they are well within their rights to define their generation and it's language, relationships and music.

I personally do not agree with the use of the word nigger and will try to explain to young adults the pain behind those words, if they will listen. Yet, I recognize that they don't care about what I think, until I show them how much I care about them. Life is not easy for our young adults and we are doing nothing to empower them systematically. Majority Black Schools are failing, drugs is the primary economic development that offers them opportunity based on their abilities to work and their parents are too busy surviving to parent.

I have a message to those of you who sit in your churches, on your jobs, in your homes, running businesses, leading organizations and doing absolutely nothing for Black Afrikan American People. You's a nigger! And Ain't no fake funeral gon' bury the word, if you don't change your that inappropriate behavior.

To read The Quiet Resolution (TQR) a national Black Empowerment Plan written by me, send an email to: wbsbpd88@hotmail.com Subject: TQR Request

1 Black Afrikan Man Opinion (1BAMO)
http://www.cdbaby.com/cecampbell

April 1, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio on WVKO AM Radio. Minister Farrakhan made a statement that sadden me and cause me to critically think. He stated that after the death of Coretta Scott King, the late wife of Dr. King, the King Children invited four White American Presidents to her funeral. He went on to state that he noticed that Harry Belafonte, a long time close and personal family friend of the King Family was not there. He stated that he spoke with Mr. Belafonte sometime later and Mr. Belafonte explained that the King Children had someone representing them to contact him and disinvited him to speak, stating that a mistake had been made. That person told Mr. Belafonte that he could still attend the funeral, but he would not be allowed to speak. Therefore, he chose not to come and this hurt him tremendously.

According to Minister Farrakhan, it was Harry Belafonte who, after Dr. King was murdered, who helped raise funds to pay off the Kings House and consistently sent the family money. He went on to say that the children knew him as their “Uncle Harry”, because of his generous financial support. At that point, I got angry and feel hurt, almost as if I felt they had insulted and disrespected Black Afrikan People. Mr. Belafonte who is a critic of the illegal Iraq War and he has publically criticized Bush for his neglect of Black People. No motive was given by Minister Farrakhan for their decision to disinvite Mr. Belafonte to speak, but it was disrespectful of Dr. King’s Children, who wanted to be in the presence of those four white men, who would not otherwise give them the time of day. In return for this honor for their mother, they disrespected a man who is partly responsible for their maintaining a stable family after Dr. King’s death.

I have always admired and respected Mr. Belafonte on and off the big screen. In light of the infighting, the sell of the King Center to the government and the lack of leadership ability that I’ve seen, the King Children's their behavior does not surprise me. They demonstrate that leadership abilities cannot be inherited. These presidents have done nothing significant to improve the conditions of Black Afrikan People in America.

It is my personal opinion that Dr. King’s Children are not fit to lead a parade in their own father’s honor, if this is true. They have allowed their mother’s death to show their true nature. I do not plan to give them the respect that is due to their father. Harry Belafonte is a Conscious Race Man, who stands against injustice and corrupt leaders, whose policies are a seriously hurting Black Afrikan American People or maintaining them in the conditions in which they currently exist.

Immigrants are protesting and demanding their rights to citizenship. How ironic? The anniversary of the Murder of Dr. King by this government, and not one of those four white men who were invited to speak have considered reopening the investigation of this government’s hand in Dr. King’s murder. Many of the rights that Dr. King fought for are being challenged and eliminated. The Voting Rights Law, was a compromise, which only requires Black Afrikan Americans and their descendants voting rights be renewed every 25 years. That is A DAM SHAME! Immigrants, upon receiving their citizenship never will have their any of their rights renewed. If Dr. King’s Children are truly their father’s children, they should try to complete their father’s unfinished business. The King Family Bloodline is no more than genetics. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be ashamed of your inappropriate behavior.

Much Respect to Mr. Harry Belafonte,

1 Black Afrikan American Man’s Opinion (1BAMO.blogspot.com)

Charles E. Campbell

In Spirit and Legacy of the Honorable Marcus M. Garvey, I offer a simple proposal. Black Liberation Television (BLTV) is an idea whose time has come. BLTV would consist of one cable channel broadcasting in seven languages. They would be English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Ghanaian, and Swahili. BLTV will be unique because it will uplift and empower Black Afrikan People and People of Afrikan Descent around the world. That is the global vision. I have always believed that one should start small and grow. My idea of small is a bit larger than most.

BLTV should be owned by Black Afrikan People and operated in the interest of Black People of Afrikan Descent. That is a hard concept for most Black Afrikan People to understand, even among those of us who consider ourselves conscious. Capitalism is all about selfish greed. Many Black Afrikan People have been taught capitalism and will want to bring that ideology to BLTV. That will not be allowed to happen.

It will require extraordinary courage and sacrifice to implement this proposal. Some people will even lose their life and livelihood. This proposal is a true test of Black People of Afrikan Descents’ collective strength, courage and will. “Up You Mighty Race, Accomplish What You Will”, said the Honorable Marcus Garvey. I say, “Where There Is A Will, There’s A Way, But Where There Is No Will, There Are Excuses”. So, let me start by talking about some of the expected excuses and offer some solutions to them.

Excuse #1: Some Black People of Afrikan Descent don’t trust other Black People of Afrikan Descent.

Solution: Black Afrikan Americans through the enslavement, deconstruction, jim crow and affirmative re-action periods have been taught to mistrust, hate, mistreat, abuse and kill each other. Those individuals, who cannot STOP this inappropriate behavior, will not be allowed to participate with BLTV! Similar processes have been implemented around the world on People of Afrikan Descent. They too must stop! We don’t want nor need their time, effort or money. Therefore, if you are one of those, please leave BLTV alone and BLTV will leave you alone.

Excuse #2: Some Black People of Afrikan Descent don’t think that BLTV can never be done.

Solution: That’s A Lie! The Honorable Marcus Garvey with his UNIA and The Greenwood Community of Tulsa, Oklahoma (Black Wall Street) achieved unbelievable economic success. Black Afrikans in America number between 38 and 45 million people who generate and estimated 700 to 800 Billion Dollars each year. We simply have lacked the Leadership and Will to do for ourselves after the Trick of Desegregation. If individuals can start BET, Black Family Channel and TVOne, imagine what a collective of Committed Black Afrikan People from around this world can achieve.

Excuse #3: The U.S. Government will not allow us to do this.

Solution: We will do it anyway! It is not illegal to start a broadcasting company in the U.S. or South Africa, Ghana or Nigeria. The worst thing they can do is kill us and they are already doing that. (Poor Health Care, No Health Care, Drugs, Alcohol, Guns, Incarceration, Genocide, Iraq Wars, Aids, Bird Flu, Man Made Natural Disaster like Hurricane Katrina Orleans, LA, and Sudan, Afrika) So all weak-kneed Negroes need not step forward. Stay safe, comfortable, and away from BLTV.

Excuse #4: Where are we going to get the money?

Solution: From Black Afrikan People in the United States, Afrikan Countries and from around the world. Here is how we fund BLTV. Everyone will have an opportunity to make a one-time contribution at his or her financial level of comfort. The support level goals are as follows:

100 People to contribute 1 Million Dollars = 100 Million Dollars
Oh! For those of you who believe that The Quiet Resolution (TQR) (http://www.tqrbe.blogspot.com ) will not be televised, think again. BLTV will televise the truth about everything including The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. So, if this idea scares you, be afraid. Be very afraid!

It will take our collective energy, money, intellect, skills and talents to implement this BLTV. Therefore, I challenge every Historical Black College and University Student, every Afrikan College and University Student, every Black Writer, Producers, Director, Actor, Camera Person, Technician, Black Professionals and Nonprofessionals of Afrikan Descent to support this proposal, regardless of your religious, philosophical, economic, social, political or ethnic background. We must own and control a media that examines true Black Afrikan History and Culture and current events from our perspective. We must begin to write and produce multimedia projects for Black Liberation Television (BLTV). We must also begin to tell our stories uncensored by anyone, include ourselves. We must begin to expose the truth about our history, culture, experiences, hopes, dreams and aspirations from a Conscious Black Afrikan Perspective and Worldview.

What You Must To Do Next?

Suppose you read this proposal and think that it is a Great Idea. E. B. DuBois called the “Talented Tenth”. That group who was supposed to lead the Black Race. It was a wonderful idea, but today, we are a Collective Group of Unconscious Black Mis-Educated People, engaged in foolish inappropriate behavior. We don’t see ourselves as part of a collective group of Black Afrikan American People. We are caught up in the games of selfish materialism, ego driving consumerism and utter foolishness. We spend an enormous amount of time watching sports, having sex, using drugs, listening to music, climbing the corporate ladder and having a good time in order to maintain a healthy mental status, instead of working collectively and taking responsibility for the uplift and empowerment of OUR PEOPLE.

Here’s what we are doing wrong. As members of organizations, we collectively spend millions of dollars each year on conferences, hotel, travel, food, facility rental, marketing and printing in various cities. We have been doing this since the mid 20th Century. Our leadership is stuck in doing things the old way, because they are afraid their membership will reject them if they truly were to provide us with leadership. In many cases, they are correct, but true leadership takes backbone and courage. Many of them have their noses so far up the Butts of white people, that they are afraid to make any move without first smelling the strength of the white person’s fart. In other words, they are afraid that the white political and elite will not approve of them working toward the uplift and empowerment of their own people. That’s why most Black Leaders refused to meet together with each other and collectively discuss solutions to issues and problems relevant to the masses of Black Afrikan American People.

I’m not the first to say this nor will I be the last, but if we continue to remain silent, we bare the same responsibility as those who lead us. I have always tried to propose a solution, when I discuss Black Problems. Those of you who are brainwashed and conditioned to think about white folks problems, WAKE UP! Learn to love that which you can never change (Your Race).

One Of The Solutions: Black Economic Empowerment!

Our National Black Afrikan and Afrikan American Organizations must collectively create a for-profit International Organization with local branches where Black Social, Professional and Nonprofessional Organizations meet monthly collectively on a local level and attend a national conference every 5 years. All participating organizations must provide membership dues of $1,000 per year to the national and $500 to the local branches of the Organization specifically for the purpose of purchasing large hotels in cities that have a majority Black population first. Local branches will purchase facilities where they will collectively spend their money on programs that uplift and empower Black Afrikan American People.

If 100 Black Organizations pooled $1,000 per year, that would total $100,000 per year and $500 per year would total 50,000 at a local level. Now imagine 200 Black Organizations doing this. The average Black Organization Conference generates and average of 3 Million Dollars for the host city. The Host City must be willing go contribute 30% of the profits from those conferences back to that International Organization, who will redistribute 20% of those dollars back to the local branches. We could generate $300,000 for our own organizations. Currently, they pimp our leadership with free rooms, free food, free limo and free liquor and these Negroes actually think they are getting a great deal for their organizations. Their selfish egos are being stroked.

Starting in the year 2010, each national organization must schedule their next five conferences in that city. This financial system will effectively allow the local branches redistribute money back into their communities. That organization must have clearly identified programs that empower and uplift Black People.

One goal must be to support Historical Black and United Negro College Funded Colleges and Universities, and demand that they change their focus to include students working collective across various academic disciplines with the goal of developing products and services that Black Businesses can develop, manufacture, market, distribute and sell in all areas of commerce. Black People including Black Professionals Nonprofessionals, and Black Students must create a new model for self-sufficiency, self-empowerment and self-uplift. This would lead to 100% employment and Black Business Growth in our communities.

We must begin to seriously discuss the current situation of the Masses of Black Afrikan American People and do something about it. The Black Community is Hurting and we the so-called “Talented Tenth” must get up off our collective Asses and do something to uplift and empower them! If most of those pimping politicians and preachers were going to use their influence, position or resources to address Black People’s Collective Problems, they would be doing so already! So, don’t waste your time! They will have to follow our collective leadership or get the Hell Out-The Way!

A plan was devised, implemented and executed on Black People in New Orleans, LA. "They" and US government Corps of Engineers poorly constructed a level, which did not break when Hurricane Katrina hit as they expected. Therefore, they strategically bombed it next to the Lower Ninth Ward. This action killed many people and ethnically cleansed Black People from their neighborhood. Now they have developed an unethical, immoral and racist plan to legally steal the property. Follow the money and you will clearly see who "THEY" are.

In the book of made up stories, the bible, it describes an evil satin, as someone who comes but to steal, kill and destroy. They should have added Black Afrikan People to the end of that statement. I agree with that definition evil. Now judge who is currently and has historically behaved around the world in that manner.

To those Samboes, like Mayor Ray Nagins who left his people who he knew had no transportation and did nothing to help them until it was too late and who is allowing the blatant theft of Black Afrikan American People's Property, I say that you are a disgrace to the Black Race. However, to the Boule and Black Conservatist you are a role mode of how to mistreat Black People. Shame On you!

The White Media made Mayor Sambo Ray Nagin apologized for calling New Orleans a Chocolate City and he did. Shame On You Ray! The Whites People wanted to make it clear that New Orleans will never be a Black, Chocolate, Mulatto or any kind of other city that has a Black Afrikan American Population and thanks to Sambo Ray’s poor leadership on behalf of Black People.

Charles E. Some Black Leaders should have been killed. Dr. King and Malcolm X would be ashamed of the condition of our people and those who propose to lead us. Those of you who don’t give a dam, or who are feeding off a white supremacy system that continues to systematically destroy Black Afrikan American People as a group, may have a different view of our current condition.

Our current economic, political, social and educational condition is a direct affect of the leadership over the past 35 years. Those political, business, religious, social and community leaders at all levels refused to come together to develop a national agenda for Black People, unless it is an attempt to pimp us with false hope through a “SUMMIT”. They had a gang summit, political summit, economic summit, religious summit, media summit, educational summit, business summit, child welfare summit, criminal justice summit and so on. I personally don’t want hear about another dam summit designed to pacify, emotionalize our intellectuals or inspire those of us seeking serious leadership.

White Supremacy sent a serious message when they killed Dr. King, Fannie Lou Hamer, Malcolm X, Black Panthers Members and so many others who were not well known outside of their communities all over this country. That message was, “Get in line or die”. Black Leadership fell in line at attention and took their orders, which was designed to destroy Black Businesses, Black Children, Black Families and Black Communities. As a reward for their being so effective, they were given jobs as politicians, professors, preachers, pimps and a few crumbs (business contracts) from the white supremacy table.

Look around your city and state and you can see these Negroes all over the place. They normally show up during an election or a crisis in the Black Community, but only when Conscious Black People start to organize. You never see them intervene when they have something to lose. They are there to demonstrate to the their masters that they can control Black People. Leading this false attempt at resolving the issue are Pimping Preachers, who stay in their churches and ignores the suffering of Black People in Black Neighborhoods. Their main goals are larger members and larger churches. These pimps actually compete against each other for women, cars, and members. Attend one of their denomination Summits (Conventions) and watch it live.

Secondly, Pimping Politicians are forced to step up, because they start getting calls to lead. They never have any constructive action plan to empower Black People, other than announcing a plan to have a SUMMIT. Black People should be tied of this foolishness, but we are not. Why? Because there is a serious network of people controlled by the White Wealthy Elite Power Structure that ensure our energies are redirected, misdirected and confused. They have positioned Conservative Thinking Black Republican and Democrats as head of many community organizations, who use their constitution and by-laws to ensure that the organizations take no serious positions to help the community. They are afraid of losing their nonprofit status, which is a trap for Black Organization, which keeps them passive and ineffective. These Black Samboes get involve to create confusing or assume leadership for the purpose of destroying any relevant movement that communities start because of some injustice.

The other strategy is to apply pressure to the group’s individual leaders. Since white people employ most Black People, our leaders run the risk of losing their job, income, home and livelihood. It’s sad, but true! They make serious examples out of those who wanted to be leaders and for those who would follow that person’s leadership. Immediately, Black People’s selfish survival instinct kicks into high gear. They began to make excuses for not attending meeting and never show up, they began talking bad about the efforts of others who are not afraid. Their self-hatred kicks in and they feel ashamed, because their manhood or womanhood was tested and they were too afraid to stand up. Death is the only guarantee once you are born. So, make the transition with your dignity and pride. Remember the immortal words of a Great Afrikan American: “I’d rather be dead and in my grave, before I’ll be a slave”. We were all born to die and living to an old age is over rated. They quality of life for our people should matter. We, Black Afrikan Americans, would rather make our transition, before we'll be educationally, economically, psychologically and mentally enslaved.

So when I examine the condition of Black Afrikan American People, I think that most, but not all, of our current leadership should stand up for Justice, Human Rights, Self Determination, Black Unity, Black Love, Black Economic Empowerment or get out of the way. Or on Dr. Martin L. King Jr.'s Birth, when they all come out of hiding like roaches, I suggest some Nu Mark Spray for them.

Here is one plan of action that I propose:

In 2006, Black Afrikan American Leader of organizations on a local, state and national level should who come together once per month to discuss relevant issues around the collective economic empower and uplift of Black Afrikan American People. Each organization representative should bring $20.00 to the meeting to start a fund to implement the groups’ action plans. Leadership is clear, but BS can be smelled before it’s seen.

Respect!

One Love, One People, One Goal: Black Empowerment

Charles E. Campbell

Wbsbpd88@hotmail.com

http://www.cdbaby.com/cecampbell
http://www.tqrbe.blogspot.com (What I'm working on)

http://www.cdbaby.com/cecampbell

Then they gave it to us during the enslavement process, which keeps today, us as a people bound, powerless, helpless and praying to a white god, who never existed. There is proof in Afrikan that Afrikan Civilizations Existed 10,000 years ago. Using the bible, Christians can only date the Adam and Eve story back 4,000 years. How do you account for the other 6,000 years? You can’t! You are just told to believe an allegory, which is a made up story. The bible is full of stories that have been proven to be false. Pyramids are not built out of mud and straw. Slaves didn’t build the Pyramids in Egypt. Jews were never enslaved in Egypt.

I have nothing against Christians because I was once one, because my mother was one, because her mother was one, because her mother was one, because the enslaver gave her mother the religion, brutalized, raped and abused her all while teaching the enslaved to turn the other cheek like Jesus would do.

We have more Christian Preachers and more churches than we have ever had in this country's history. Why then are we at the top of every negative statistic and at the bottom of every positive statistic. The baptist preachers, on a national, state, county or city refuse to come together and pool their money to open a bank, manufacturing facility, grocery story, or anything. This is what those Pimping Preachers refuse to do.

Here's what they are doing. Stealing from their congregations, going to jail for embezzlement, engaging in homosexual and extramarital relationships with members in their churches, buying jet airplanes for their personal and business use, building mega churches, driving new cars every year, building personal wealth and fortunes that they plan to hand down to the next generation of pimps. All this while support a faith based policies of George Bush that are devastating Poor Black Afrikan American People. For a few crumbs and a photo opportunity. They should be ashamed of themselves, but they are not. They are proud to be Conservative Black Republicans. They are trying to conserve what they personally have and don’t give a dam about Black People as a group. They are quick to tell you to turn your problems over to God, well the next time they want to give themselves another fat raise, you should tell them to pray about it and turn that over to God too.J They will run you out of their church.

There are very Powerful, Wealthy and Elite White People know that Christianity was taken over by the Roman Catholic Church and they know the truth, which allows them to continue to maintain control over this planet, while ensure that those that they abuse, misuse, murder, steal from and mistreat, continue love and give their life for a man who never ever exited. Other than the bible, there is now proof that a man name Jesus ever walked this planet. Like it or not, those are the facts.

Religion is handed down from parents to their children, before their children can read, write or think for themselves. This program starts very young when children are taken to church and program with lies in Sunday School. A Black Liberation Theology is the only programming that makes sense to me. It teaches me a spirituality that connects me to my people’s history, helps me understand Black Afrikan American People's current conditions, how we got there and empowers me to work toward the Liberation and Uplift of my people.

I have no time for that kind for any kind of foolishness that teaches me to pray to an image of my historical enemy, turn the other cheek and wait until I die t o get my pie in the sky. I listen to Dr. Ray Hagins at http://www.wblr.com, because he is teaching those of us who have broken the programming of Jesus Christ, which was created by the Roman Catholic Church, a Black Afrikan Theology that empowers and liberate us. He teaches us how to understand our spirituality and relationship to our creator and how to work toward the liberation of our People. The threat of hell don’t scare me, because I’m living in hell on earth and my battle is with those who are oppressing Black Afrikan People in America and Afrika.

It is never my intention to offend people, therefore those of you who want to hold on to your personal lord and savior Jesus Christ, are welcome to do so. Maybe someday, you will start to THINK for yourself. That's one thing that Christianity does not want Black People to do. If you think, the next logical thing to do is ask questions. Try that one-day and witness a God Fearing, Bible Toating Black Christian put you back in your Christian place of ignorance.

First we must free our minds with truth, then our behinds will follow.

Respect!
One Love, One People, One Goal: Black Empowerment

Charles E. The Conservative (Racist) Republican Policies and the poor leadership ability of the Liberal Democrats and foolishness that many, but not all of the Congressional Black Caucus, is leading to the total subjugation and death of Poor Black Afrikan American People.

A great man once said that, "Black People have not had enough pain yet, to get organized to economically empower themselves". Well here comes the pain! The new federal budget will lead to the death of millions of Poor Black Afrikan Americans. First let me qualify the definition of Poor Black Afrikan American. You are poor if you have no savings and would be homeless if you missed the next six or less paychecks. You are Black if you are stressed and catching hell for no reason that you can understand and your mother or father is or was Black. You are Afrikan because it is the birthplace of all civilization and the human race. You are American if you were born and live in America and believe that this country is the home of the free and land or the brave.

John Conyers, Democrat for Detroit, MI continues to share the facts with his people. Here is what’s planned for Black Afrikan Americans. But remember it will happen slowly.

Racist Conservatist and Bush are cutting all programs that benefit Poor Afrikan American. They include cuts in Medicaid of 11.9 billion dollars. Black People will die slowly from poor or no medical care.

They are cutting Food Stamp Program of 844 million dollars. Black People will starve to death slowly. The crime and incarceration rates will skyrocket, due to people fighting to survive by any means necessary.

They are cutting Child Care Assistance. No childcare, no work, no work, no public assistance with rent, food and utilities. However they will take Black Children from their parents because of their lack of economic resources. As a result of this stress, abuse, addiction, abandonment and death of Black Children will occur, but slowly.

They are cutting Child Support Enforcement Programs by 4.3 billion dollars. What happens when poor people can't afford or refuse to take care of their children? That's right! Lack of adequate food, shelter and clothing leads to greater infant mortality. A slow death!

They are cutting Education by 14.3 billion dollars. If you are Black and Poor, don't plan of the government helping your child attend college. It won't happen! If you can't afford a college education, you better make sure your child learns a trade before they graduate. If you don't, you better plan top take care of them for the rest of your life.

This is the saddest of all, especially for all the flag waving proud Americans. Bush and the Boys are cutting Veterans Health Care by more than 600 million dollars from the Department of Veteran Affairs. All while still fighting an illegal, immoral and unjust war! But remember your history Black Afrikan Americans, who got shafted after WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korea, and Desert Storm. Black Afrikan Americans! White People in many of these VA Hospitals will make sure that White Veterans find the loop holds, while ensuring that you suffer and die slowly. After that they'll bury you and give yo momma a flag.

Black Afrikan Americans better wake up. Oh! I a Black Sambo Politicians decides that we should take some action and propose another march anywhere; shot him or her in their foot, literally! Pain and death has been systematically planned for a race of people who are an obsolete labor forces and consumer group. The New Black Codes and Bush Crow Era are in full affect!

To anyone involved in a serious effort for the Liberation and Empowerment of Black Afrikan Americans, you are not crazy. The NSA is and will continue to bug your telephone, cell phone and email. Bush said it after it was exposed that he authorized Dr. Condie Rice to do it and like a good little Sambo, she did it. The US Constitution is not worth the paper it was written on. Poor Black Afrikan Americans could make better use for it in their Outhouses.

I welcome all feedback, even for the conservatives, I mean racist religious right and those satisfied samboes. My friends and enemies are welcome to email me too.

Asa'

One Love, One People, One Goal: Black Empowerment
Charles E. When you love yourself and your people, you will engage in that behavior, which uplifts and empowers them.

The Problem with HBCUs

Many HBCUs have been historically under-funded and have suffered from a lack of a serious Black Empowerment Agenda for their students. They have failed to program into their students and alumni a sense of collective Black Unity and Purpose. If this were implemented successfully, it would enable many of us to financially support them.

The Analysis

On every HBCU Campus, exist future inventors and creative geniuses like Imhotep, Dr. George Washington Carver, Elijah McCoy, Garret Morgan, Jan E. Woods, Donald Cotton, Dr. Charles Drew, Benjamin Banneker, Lonnie Johnson and many others.

A Great Black Afrikan once said, “It is foolish for Black Afrikan American People to allow their historically oppressors (White People) to educate their Children and expect them to educate them sufficiently enough, to complete against White Children for jobs, wealth and power in a capitalistic society in which they want to maintain control.” The failure of Black Afrikan People was and is systematically planned, implemented and maintained. If you examine your community today, you would see the results of those plans. The current educational agenda at many HBCUs was established, approved or under funded by whites people. That’s why HBCUs have only a few Medical Schools, Law School, Engineering School and MBA Schools. Our education system must serve to empower and uplift the masses of Black Afrikan American People. HBCUs must begin to prepare their students to help their people compete in a global economy.

We must regain control over the education of our children and set a new agenda that seeks to uplift and empowerment them. We are the most innovative and creative people on this planet. We have everything we need to change our present conditions and prepare for a new future. Our method of education must be redesigned, especially on an elementary, high school and collegiate level. It must create conscious Black Students who understand their history, culture and the needs of their people. They must be given skills and a mentality of self-love and self-empowerment.

The Solution

What I propose is a New Empowerment Agenda for HBCUs that will allow them to harness and focus the collective energy and efforts of their Black Afrikan Students toward self-love, self-uplift and self-empowerment. As a result, their students and Black Afrikan American Community help them become more financially stable. HBCUs Students must focus on creating businesses that employ our people, rather than graduating and becoming a part of the labor force.

HBCUs must create the condition and environment that allow students to develop new products and services that lead to professional, manufacturing and business opportunities that they own and control. This strategy should include the collaboration between HBCUs through Partnership Agreements, which will allow their students and professors to share equipment and technology that benefits each university. Some of our Black Universities have people with ideas, but no equipment or capital to develop the ideas.

HBCUs must systematically teach Black Afrikan Students to love themselves by exposing them to many of the teachings of the Great Black Afrikan Thinkers. They must be taught to work together for the empowerment of each other. This process can only be achieved through creating Conscious Black Afrikan American Students who understand their history, culture and purpose.

HBCUs must shift their focus from graduating students seeking employment, to students creating employment opportunities for themselves, their communities and people. Students must have the opportunity to help their universities generate wealth through entrepreneurship. HBCUs must create business agreement with their participating students that offer a 50/50 Student Partnership Agreement, whereby the profits from any product or service developed at their university will be shared equally. This will provide students with a financial incentive to develop new products and service ideas.

Students must focus their knowledge toward the design, manufacturing, financial accounting, management, marketing, promoting, advertising, distribution and selling of products and services first to Black Afrikan People in America, in Afrika and then the World. Our leadership at HBCUs and every department head should work with students majoring in Arts and Science, Business and Industry, Education, International Studies, Entrepreneurship, Black Afrikan Studies, Computer Science and Technology must all be required to participate on “Entrepreneurial Teams” (ETs). These Entrepreneurial Teams must work together on projects together to produce new products and services. Any student who has an idea or concepts for a product or services should participate on these Entrepreneurial Teams, in addition to students majoring in those fields. Students majoring in Communication, English, History, Education, Drama must focus on creating consumer products like music, radio program, plays, books, screenplays, television programs, food products, games and other consumer products. Social Worker and Criminal Justice Majors must create new social services programs for our elderly, juveniles and adults released from prisons and children in foster care. Our science, engineering and chemistry majors must focus on creating new drugs, toys, soaps, lotions, medicines, new energy, transportation, communication, construction materials for housing and prepare for living and working in outer space. HBCU Students must focus on the development of Afrikan Countries and their resources for the benefit of Afrikan People.

Funding

Okay, that all sounds good, but how would it be funded? To generate venture capital funding for this New HBCU Education Agenda, alumni, students, faculty and Conscious Black People must be given the opportunity to invest $5.00 per month with those HBCUs who implement this new agenda. Their goal should be to target 10,000 Black Afrikan People. When this goal is reached, the Venture Capital Fund would generate $50,000 per month or $600,000 per year. Every student should be assessed an additional $60.00 per year with the clear understanding that those funds will be used to fund Entrepreneurial Team. If HBCUs work together, then collectively it can be achieved must faster. This new agenda would represent a radical shift in the thinking of some of our HBCU Leadership, administrators, faculty and students.

Conclusion

I have outlined a strategy for Black Empowerment in the area of Higher Education that should be implemented in January 2006. Every HBCU President, administrator, faculty and student, should implement this New HBCU Empowerment Agenda. Many Conscious Black Afrikan Americans would financially support such an agenda, if adopted by our leadership. Where there is a will, there is a way, but where there is no will, there are excuses. Anytime a HBCU President truly wants to achieve something, they will find a way. However, when they don’t want to achieve something, they will find an excuse. Reality should not be used as an excuse for not trying. Our history has been the ability to make a way out of no way. Let’s ignite the wildfire of our collective creativity and unity.

I have heard the predictions of many of our great thinkers and witness the growing problems in Black Afrikan American Communities. This is one solutions offered to empower and uplift our people.

I have also written The Quiet Resolution (TQR), which is based upon the writings of Dr. Carter G. He doesn't understand why Negro History Week was started by Dr. Cater G. Woodson, which was later changed to Black History Month. I agree with his statement that Black History is American History because absolutely nothing has ever occurred in this country that Black People didn't directly or indirectly cause.

Morgan Freeman should spend more time in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi where he is from. Poverty there is bad and getting worst. White Conservatist Racist understand that Black Children need role models and they learn about those people specifically one month out of the year and many white and black teachers do a poor job at discussing true Black Afrikan History in America, Afrika and around the world. I'm from Tallahatchie County and Morgan Freeman opened a restaurant in Clarksdale, MS, Coahoma County. There are only two libraries in the entire County Eastside of Tallahatchie County Charleston, MS and Westside of Tallahatchie County Tutwiler, MS. The county has underfunded the Westside library and is planning to close it. Do something about that Morgan Freeman? If you want to make a difference or need a tax write-off! They’re over 400 children in that town with nothing to do and now they are taking away their library. What planet are you living on Mr. Freeman? You are clearly out of touch with the masses of Black Afrikan Americans who are hurting in this country.

So before you get on National TV talking about eliminating Black History Month, help to replace it with an educational system that Helps Black Afrikan American Children have PRIDE in themselves, economically EMPOWER themselves and to LOVE themselves.

Look at that state of Black Afrikan Children in America. They are killing that which they have not been taught to love, protect, have pride in or respect. "Themselves and Their Community" They should thank people like you, who were a part of the Civil Rights Movement who allow this situation to happen. Replace Back History Month with something better, and then we can get rid of what already exist. Make a movie about that! I challenge you!

Respect!
One Love, One People, One Goal: Black Empowerment

Charles E.
